A Venetian Florida Mansion Inspired By Russia’s Hermitage Museum Asks $13.5 Million
Designed in the Classic Venetian style by Russian, Italian and local South Florida artisans, the residence mirrors the Classic Venetian style of St. Petersburg’s Hermitage, the world’s second largest museum (originally built to house Empress Catherine The Great’s art collection).
Like The Hermitage (often called “The Winter Palace”), The Golden Palace offers waterfront bay views throughout—best from all bedrooms, the kitchen and piano lounge room.

Dome of opal glass and water glass, in copper foil technique, Designed in the Classic Venetian style, according to the decoration of the mansion in golden colors. The 10′ diameter stained glass dome, 3′ curved interior, is located in the dome of a staircase 18′ high, reinforced aluminum structure, the dome has a motor to lower the glass lamp.
